Laura Harvey

Speech Pathologist / Director

Laura knows that it only takes only one person to believe in you for great changes to happen. This is the power of parents and the philosophy behind Dot to Dot.

Laura has extensive experience working in hospitals, community centres, Speech Pathology clinics and early intervention programs. She loves her work and has studied; language development, social interactions, picky eating, speech sound disorders, sensory processing, behaviour support strategies, stuttering, and alternative communication methods (e.g. devices). Her extensive professional knowledge allows her to see children and families holistically which improves the outcomes of children.

Laura has an energetic and playful personality. She loves reading, spending time with her family, running and eating ice-cream.

Cassie Andersen

Business Operations Manager

Cassie has 10 years of experience in business administration and puts it to good use in her role of Business Operations Manager.

Cassie is delighted to work at Dot to Dot because she is passionate about helping families with children who have disabilities. This is due to the fact she has two children with Autism herself. Cassie understands the struggles families face on a daily basis and strongly believes that one of the keys to a child's development is early intervention, along with believing in your child and yourself.

Cassie loves spending time at the beach with her family and looking after her sheep.

Victoria Roache

Speech Pathologist

Victoria is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children and their families. Victoria has a warm, empathetic and pragmatic approach to therapy and enjoys the collaborative process of the therapy journey, firmly believing in the power and impact of Early Intervention in the younger years.

Victoria has worked across governmental, non-for-profit and private practice settings and has provided therapy services for babies, children and young adults with developmental delays and disabilities. Victoria has gained additional training in programs such as Hanen ‘It Takes Two To Talk’, PODD Training, Key Word Sign.

In her spare time Victoria enjoys going for walks with her two dogs, growing plants from seeds and cuttings for her garden and is a keen baker!

Jaylee Clark

Occupational Therapist

Jaylee is an energetic, highly motivated therapist who enjoys getting to know the families and implementing practical, evidence-based strategies.

Jaylee has a passion for working in Early Childhood Intervention with a plan to specialise in neonatal interventions in the future. She has experience with sensory processing, play development, socialisation, and eating difficulties and is always up for a challenge! 

In her spare time Jaylee enjoys spending time at the beach with her rescue dog Bundi, catching up with friends and travelling!

Alysse Cruz

Occupational Therapist

Alysse is a playful and thoughtful therapist who considers intervention from all angles when working with families, providing a personal approach.

Alysse has an interest in sensory processing and behaviour. She has experience in developing children's social and communication skills, as well as developing self-care routines.
 

Alysse loves sushi, bright and colourful patterns, Disney movies and over the top travel itineraries! She loves to travel because she can meet different people and experience different cultures. Alysse enjoys working with kids because she always learns something new and it gives her a fresh and fun perspective on the world.

Kelsey Sherwood

Therapy Assistant

Kelsey has a Psychology background and has worked in the disability sector for the past 6 years in various support roles and prior to this in mental health rehabilitation programs.
 

Kelsey thoroughly enjoys working with children and has volunteered for an Autism Playgroup and in 2014 completed Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Training.  She is passionate about helping children build and develop resilience to thrive and develop to their full potential.
 

Kelsey has an interest in Eating Disorders and previously co-facilitated the Geelong Mental Health Professionals Eating Disorders Network.  She is interested in applying this knowledge and passion to children experiencing eating difficulties.
 

Most importantly, Kelsey is very passionate about creating a trusting, fun and meaningful rapport with the children she works with and their families to help them achieve their goals.

Laura Kelly

Therapy Assistant / Occupational Therapy Student

Laura has always had a passion for working with children to help them achieve their goals. From this passion she started studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University in Geelong and is in her final year.

 

At the end of her degree she hopes to pursue a career in paediatrics where she can continue to provide therapy to children. She has extensive experience working with children with disabilities through her work as a disability support worker, University placements and private respite work over the past three years.


This previous experience and her studies have enabled her to expand her skills as a
developing therapist, she prides herself on being able to build rapport and providing therapy to the highest standard.

Ashleigh Cornell

Therapy Assistant / Speech Pathology Student

Ashleigh has always wanted a career in Early Intervention. It was because of this she began studying Speech Pathology at La Trobe University.
 

Ashleigh believes in the importance of empowering families throughout the therapy process to gain the skills and knowledge to implement therapy techniques during their everyday routines and activities.
 

Throughout her university placements, she has gained valuable experience working with a range of populations which allows her to provide individualised therapy to all of her clients.
